If you are not sure how to know if you are pregnant and you want to find out we are here to help you know more about the signs of pregnancy. If you have too many of the following symptoms, maybe it is time to check with a gynecologist. You need to be definite about your state of pregnancy.

Morning sickness is the phrase used to describe the feeling of nausea and vomiting experienced by women during pregnancy. Most pregnant women experience a morning sickness during the first trimester of their pregnancy. The phrase was probably coined because when you usually wake up from your sleep in the morning, your levels of blood sugar are low and there are more chances of you experiencing a morning sickness then than at other times of the day.

Pregnant women also often experience a throbbing pain in the head. If you are the kinds who do not experience frequent headaches but are doing so now, it could be cause of the hormonal changes taking place in your body. This could be a sign of your pregnancy. Hormonal imbalances also cause you to feel sudden changes in your mood. A sense of fatigue, tiredness as well as dizziness is also accompanied along with other signs of pregnancy. Craving for eatables that you would normally not consume could be another sign of your pregnancy. These food items could be salty, spicy, sweet or even starchy.

Sudden spurts of putting on weight and a sense of bloating means that your baby’s weight is adding on to your own and making you feel fuller than normal. You might sense a burning discomfort around your heart which too is a sign of pregnancy. Pains in the lower back, constipation or frequent urges to visit the toilet to urinate could also suggest same ideas as these symptoms are all common to pregnancy. The movement of the baby inside the uterus and its pressing against your bladder are common reasons why you might be experiencing these discomforts.

If your body temperature has been higher than usual for over 18 days there are again chances of pregnancy. Also during this period you should check if you experience cramps, spotting or darkening of the areolas. Spotting would happen 3 to 6 days from fertilization and would generally occur beyond the normal menstrual cycle so you must not confuse it with your period.

If your breasts feel tender and feel swollen or tingly this could be because of raging hormones in the body and thus suggest pregnancy. But of course the biggest clue to pregnancy is you skipping your period. Then you might as well be definite of your pregnancy though there are times when women do skip the periods for other reasons. Incase you have missed a period you should immediately go in for a pregnancy test which would confirm your doubts for you and post the test we suggest you visit a gynecologist as she would be able to tell you for sure if you are pregnant or not.
